Gas Guitarworks is a one-man custom shop located in Tampere, Finland (Härmälä district). I have worked as an artisan since 1989, and for more than 20 years as an independent luthier and repairman trusted by countless musicians.

At Gas Guitarworks, there are two core goals: to create the best sounding guitars and to ensure the happiest customers. Hand-selected materials, decades of craftsmanship, the right tools and proven building methods come together to produce something truly exceptional—an experience you have to feel to believe.

Some of the most dedicated players have commissioned multiple instruments, with collections of 5–10 guitars built here.

Your custom guitar can start from one of GAS’ own models, a familiar classic design, or a completely new concept created together from scratch. The workshop stocks a wide range of top-quality tonewoods—from renowned classics to unique sinker and reclaimed woods aged hundreds or even thousands of years, each carrying a history and soul of its own. Together, we’ll discover the perfect wood combination for your sound and playing style.

The Gas workshop is a place of passion and discovery, where big feelings and eureka moments happen daily.
