The Custom Viva® La Prima is a guitar that allows you to create an instrument that truly looks, feels, and sounds like your own.

Thanks to the extensive customization options available in our online store, you can personalize everything from finishes, neck profiles, and tonewoods to electronics and hardware. Every Viva® is individually built at the GAS Guitarworks workshop in Finland with over 30 years of professional experience.

The foundation of the Viva® is built around combining the aesthetics of classic offset guitars with modern playability, stability, and professional-level craftsmanship. The result is an instrument that immediately feels inspiring and uniquely yours for years to come.

The lively, resonant body is crafted from carefully selected tonewoods, while the nitrocellulose lacquer finish — aged according to your preferences — captures the spirit and character of vintage instruments. Available finishes include classic custom colors, traditional bursts, metallic finishes, and transparent options ranging from vintage-inspired Surf Green to deep sunbursts and striking metallic shades.

As with all GAS instruments, the neck options are designed with playability as the top priority. Multiple profiles are available, from smooth modern C-shapes to soft V profiles and chunkier vintage-inspired alternatives. Carbon fiber reinforcement, premium Jescar frets, and a carefully crafted nut make the Viva a reliable professional tool both on stage and in the studio.

The electronics can be configured in several different ways, ranging from traditional offset-style tones to more powerful humbucker and HSS setups. GAS Handwound pickups, premium CTS components, and Switchcraft hardware deliver a dynamic and articulate sound that responds beautifully to your playing.

On the hardware side, the Viva® can be equipped with anything from a classic tune-o-matic setup to an offset vibrato system. The final touch comes from carefully selected details such as aged hardware, matching headstocks, and various pickguard options.
