GAS Viva La Prima Copper Metallic – Vintage feel with Goldfoil attitude

The GAS Viva® La Prima Copper Metallic is a distinctive Finnish-built offset guitar that combines carefully selected tonewoods, a classic-feeling neck profile and a bold boutique aesthetic. At approximately 3.2 kg, it remains light, balanced and comfortable both on stage and during longer playing sessions.

The body is made from a single piece of pine and finished in Copper Metallic with gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. The aged finish, matching headstock and black Bakelite pickguard create a beautifully cohesive look, giving the metallic copper colour just the right amount of vintage character.

The neck is made from roasted hard maple and shaped to a classic-inspired 57 Soft V profile. A compound 9.5″–12″ radius makes the guitar comfortable for both rhythm playing and lead work further up the neck. 21 Jescar stainless-steel frets provide a precise playing feel and excellent durability, while traditional clay dot markers complete the understated vintage aesthetic.

Electronics are handled by GAS Goldfoil humbuckers. The 7.5 kΩ neck pickup delivers a more open and rounded voice, while the hotter 16.2 kΩ bridge pickup brings extra punch, drive and authority. The distinctive radiator-style pickup covers add an immediately recognisable visual touch. A straightforward Volume/Tone layout, CTS 500k pots and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle keep the controls simple and reliable.

The hardware package includes a TonePros System II bridge, ABM 3020NA tailpiece and aged Kluson tuners. An aluminium control plate, Switchcraft output jack and carefully selected components throughout complete a guitar where vintage-inspired aesthetics meet modern playability.
