GAS Viva La Prima Ice Blue Metallic – Just 2.8 kg of offset attitude

The GAS Viva® La Prima Ice Blue Metallic is an exceptionally lightweight Finnish-built offset guitar that brings together carefully selected tonewoods, modern playability and a tastefully aged vintage aesthetic. At just 2.8 kg, it feels almost surprisingly light the moment you pick it up.

The body is made from two pieces of roasted swamp ash and finished in gloss Ice Blue Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer. The aged finish, Mint Green pickguard and aged nickel hardware create a beautifully balanced look that feels vintage without becoming overly worn.

The neck is made from roasted hard maple and reinforced with carbon fibre for added rigidity and long-term stability. Its Viva Vintage Even C profile, combined with a compound 9.5″–12″ radius, offers a comfortable and modern playing feel across the entire fingerboard. The AAA-grade Indian rosewood fingerboard, cream binding and gold MOP block inlays add a refined vintage touch, while 21 Jescar stainless-steel frets provide precise feel and excellent durability.

Electronics are handled by GAS Low Wind humbuckers: a 5.5 kΩ Alnico III in the neck and a 7.8 kΩ Alnico IV in the bridge. The simple Volume/Tone layout, CTS 500k pots and Switchcraft 3-way toggle keep the controls intuitive, reliable and stage-ready.

The hardware package is completed by an aged nickel ABM 3024NA wraparound bridge with steel saddles. Gotoh SD91 Nickel Aged tuners, an aluminium control plate and Switchcraft output jack round out a high-quality, purposeful specification.
